Company Description:
"Ignaz Bösendorfer gave his hometown Vienna a new voice. More specifically: He took the music-making voice of this city, took it out of the air, out of the hearts of its people, from the depths of his own being and implanted it into the shrine of his pianos, that this voice – included therein – could be carried over the whole world."
By 1897 when this was printed in the "New Musical Press" (Vienna), Bösendorfer had already become the epitome of the Viennese sound. With his pianos Bösendorfer had conquered the concert halls and salons throughout the Habsburg Empire, and beyond.
Today, Bösendorfer is one of the oldest piano manufacturers in the world, rich in tradition and world famous for the distinctive inspiring sound and the outstanding quality of the instruments. The choice of premium quality materials, extraordinary attention to detail and extensive use of hand craft, characterizes each Bösendorfer piano. But it is not magic, that makes a Bösendorfer so special. In each instrument is not only the work of a whole year, but also the know-how that is passed from generation to generation since the company was founded in 1828.
Our product range includes grand pianos in eight different sizes, from 155 to 290cm length, two upright pianos, as well as the computer system CEUS, which allows extremely precise recording of your piano playing, which can then be played directly on the instrument. For many people, the purchase of a Bösendorfer grand piano is a lifetime dream. And for these people we build with dedication and professionalism something very special:
The "Bösendorfer among the grand pianos".
